After numerous failed attempts, the DC Universe is in desperate need of a reboot. While not all of the recent DC universe films have been flops, they have left something to be desired. So, much is riding on the new incarnation of “The Flash.” Fans are excited for the new film’s release, especially after Tom Cruise’s glowing review.

That hype isn’t going away anytime soon, as popular horror writer Stephen King, like Tom Cruise, absolutely loved the film. This is the final film in this phase before James Gunn’s reboot, so it would be preferable if the DC Universe ended on a high note rather than a low one.

Stephen King isn’t a huge fan of superhero films, but he loved this one.

I got an advance screening of THE FLASH today. As a rule I don’t care a lot for superhero movies, but this one is special. It’s heartfelt, funny, and eye-popping. I loved it.

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding this film, and many people have spoken out about how much they enjoyed it, including Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, who stated that James Gunn called it a masterpiece and one of the best superhero films ever made.

While the film hasn’t been without controversy, particularly surrounding Ezra Miller, who plays the titular Barry Allen, it appears to be hitting its stride now. Andy Muschietti is the one in the director’s chair, and it will be released on June 16.
