Disney World Is Closing Its Star Wars Boutique Experience That Costs More Than $4.8k For A Two Night Adventure

The little boutique hotel near the Orlando resort is not widely known, but it is the go-to place for any Star Wars fan who is interested in experiencing the adventure of living in another galaxy to the fullest. However, it has always been a very expensive place, and only the very wealthy can afford to spend such a large sum of money on a two-night stay. Two guests staying for two nights pay $4.8k, while four guests sharing a cabin pay $6k.

While it may not be the most luxurious cabin you’ve ever seen, it will remind you of the design from movies and television shows. The boutique hotel essentially seeks to immerse you in the Star Wars universe, and the two-night stay is jam-packed with activities that would make any Star Wars fan salivate.

The boutique hotel’s final voyage will take place from September 28 to September 30.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is one of our most creative projects ever and has been praised by our guests and recognized for setting a new bar for innovation and immersive entertainment. This premium, boutique experience gave us the opportunity to try new things on a smaller scale of 100 rooms, and as we prepare for its final voyage, we will take what we’ve learned to create future experiences that can reach more of our guests and fans.

This experience also included people getting to wield a real lightsaber during their journeys, and if that doesn’t sound like a Star Wars fan’s dream come true, we don’t know what does. However, it is closing, and the following message has been posted on Disney World about its demise.

The final voyage for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will take place Sept. 28-30, 2023. We are so proud of all of the Cast Members and Imagineers who brought Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to life and look forward to delivering an excellent experience for Guests during the remaining voyages over the coming months. Thank you to our Guests and fans for making this experience so special.

For Guests who previously booked a voyage on or after Sept. 30, we will be contacting you soon to discuss your options and modify your plans. As we prioritize these Guests, at this time, new bookings are temporarily paused and will reopen on May 26.
