Illustrator Brilliantly Redraws Disney And Other Cartoon Characters In Her Own Way

Isabelle Staub is a US-based artist who specializes in portraiture and character design. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she uses her skills to turn cartoon characters and popular culture icons into her own unique and often super lifelike creations. Seeking inspiration in everything from Disney Princesses and Powerpuff Girls to Pennywise the Clown and Tarantino movies, Staub transforms each of her subjects with a wholly distinct style of her own. She says the following about her art:

“From the moment I could hold a pencil, I was drawing and creating everyday,” she writes. “Art is a direct reflection of the artist. As such, my artwork is a reflection of who I am, constantly evolving and improving and not limited to one medium or style. I let my art tell viewers a story, connecting them to a place, time and emotion. I pour my heart, mind and soul into every piece I create.”
