Matthew Perry Apologizes And Promises To Remove The Insult Thrown At Keanu Reeves In His Memoir

Matthew Perry is best known as Chandler Bing from Friends, and he has remained in our hearts ever since. And, while he was portrayed in the television series as a happy-go-lucky guy who was always cracking jokes, he was actually suffering from addiction.

He has openly discussed his struggles with addiction and therapy, which prompted him to begin writing a book about his experiences in the hopes that it will help someone else. Despite the fact that he goes into excruciating detail about everything in his memoir, people were quite offended by his comments about Keanu Reeves.

Keanu Reeves is widely regarded as the nicest man in Hollywood.

While not everyone is a fan of Keanu Reeves’ acting or the John Wick franchise in which he is currently starring, there is no denying that his kindness has made him the nicest person on Earth in many fans’ eyes.

That’s why many people were taken aback when Matthey Perry mentioned him in his memoir. This occurred while he was discussing Phoenix’s drug overdose which took place in 1993.

It always seems to be the really talented guys who go down. Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?

This sparked outrage from fans all over the world, and Matthew Perry quickly apologised. Since then, he has repeatedly apologised in public and even promised to remove any mention of him from the memoir. They happen to live on the same street, but Matthew has yet to apologise in person.

I pulled his name because I live on the same street. I’ve apologized publicly to him. Any future versions of the book will not have his name in it. If I run into the guy, I’ll apologize. It was just stupid. I did my best to not go after anybody in the book. That wasn’t the point.

I’ve been in therapy since I was 18 years old. I wanted to make sure that this wasn’t the kind of book where I blame people for the things they did wrong. You have to give them credit for the things they did right.

He has since revealed that he is a huge fan of Keanu Reeves and that he chose a random name, which he now regrets, and that he should have used his own name instead.
