Many people are familiar with Keanu Reeves, whether through the Matrix films or the new John Wick franchise. However, few people are aware that he was a member of the band Dogstar. He used to play bass in a band with guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose and drummer Rob Mailhouse.

The band broke up in 2002 after their final performance in Japan, so not many people are aware of this fact. During their time together, they released two albums, Our Little Visionary and Happy Ending, which did reasonably well.

The Dogstar band has reformed to record new music.

While they teased their reunion on social media numerous times, nothing was confirmed until they announced a performance at the BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival on May 27. They will reportedly perform music from their upcoming album, but the specifics are unknown at this time.

It will be their first performance together in nearly two decades. Keanu revealed that they are currently working with Dave Trumfio as their producer, and fans are overjoyed. During their time together, the band performed at various venues around the world, including Glastonbury. In addition, they had the honour of opening for Bon Jovi and David Bowie.

All we have to do now is wait until May 27 to find out what their music is all about. This new album is said to be a continuation of their previous album, Happy Ending.
