Disneyland has been opened since 1955. When you are open for that long. There is bound to be some changes. So as you may imagine, Disneyland has changed and evolved over the many years to what we know and love now.
In the memory of all the old rides and attractions we have compiled the 10 ways that Disneyland has changed over the years. Not surprisingly it is quite different as to what it was years ago.
#1 The Prices Of Admission Has Changed Quite A Lot. They Are 60 Times More Expensive Now. The Magic Kingdom Admission Ticket Was $3.50 in October, 1971 Now It Can Cost Up To $105.

#2 There Have Been A Lot Of Theme Park Additions In Disneyland. In 1971, There Was Only The Magic Kingdom, Golf Courses And Resorts. Some Of The Additions Are Epcot Center And Animal kingdom.

#3 The Magic Kingdom Has Had A Lot Of Their Attraction Expanded, Upgraded Or Removed. Fantasy-land In Particular Has Undergone Many Changes Since It First Opened.

#4 The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow Has Undergone Many Changes Too. Some Of These Changes Has Caused Quite A Lot Of Controversy Like The Addition Of Frozen Characters.

#5 Disney’s Hollywood Studios Have Already Changed Its Name Twice And There Might Be Another Name Change On The Horizon. There is also going to be a huge Star Wars Expansion.

#6 Animal Kingdom Is The Newest Addition To Disneyland And It Is Getting Consistent Additions. The Newest Addition Is Going To Be The Pandora Expansion.

#7 There Has Been Many Additions To Other Parts Of Disneyland As Well. The Resorts As Well As Many More Restaurants Have Been Expanded. Disney Has Also Added Two Water-Parks.

#8 Ticket System Has Evolved And Changed Quite A Lot In Recent Years. Gone Are The Invisible Hand Stamps In Favor Of Technology. Specifically The My Disney Experience App.

#9 There Used To Be No Alcohol Policy Since Walt Disney Wanted Disneyland To Be A Family Experience. That Has Changed In Recent Years As Even ‘Be Our Guest’ Restaurant Is Serving Alcohol.

#10 As Disney Has Been Expanding And Upgrading New Attraction. That Sadly Means Old Attraction Have To Be Removed. Many Of The Attractions Are Now Abandoned like River County.
