As it should be since it had been in development for at least eight years. While some people were not completely content with the movie they got. Since it left out quiet a lot of things that the novel had.
However, producers can’t be expected to add everything that happens in the novel since it will make the movie unbearable long. The producers did however, add some tiny important details that you probably missed in the movie.

#3 ‘The Intersection Of WItcham And Jackson’ Is Mentioned In The Novel When We See Georgie’s Boat Bobbing And We Actually See That In The Movie.
#4 One Of The Clowns Look Like 1990 Version Of Pennywise Played By Tim Curry.
#5 Freese’s Was Actually A Pretty Popular Departmental Store In Maine For Many Years.
