Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer Is Taking The World By Storm With its Jaw-Dropping Trailer

oppnheimer

Christopher Nolan has become known in the industry as a man who can do no wrong. Most of his previous films have been box office successes, and there is no doubt that this new venture into the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer and how the atomic bomb came to be will have audiences all over the world on the edge of their seats.

The movie is filled to the brim with well-known stars from Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, Emily Blunt as Kitty Oppenheimer, Matt Damon as Lieutenant General Leslie Richard Groves Jr., Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, Jack Quaid as Richard Feynman to Gary Oldman as President Harry S. Truman.

Oppenheimer, the new film, is packed with practical effects.

I think recreating the Trinity test [the first nuclear weapon detonation, in New Mexico] without the use of computer graphics, was a huge challenge to take on.. We were looking at how we could do a lot of the visual elements of the film practically, from representing quantum dynamics and quantum physics to the Trinity test itself, to recreating, with my team, Los Alamos up on a mesa in New Mexico in extraordinary weather.

This will be Christopher Nolan’s longest feature film to date.

While his previous films were not short in length, this one is rumoured to be 2 hours and 49 minutes long, though no official word has been released. While audiences are always excited to see new films from this well-known Director, the trailer for the film has gotten fans even more hyped.

Oppenheimer will be released on July 21st.
