Brendan Fraser has made a recent comeback and we are seeing his name everywhere. This is in large part due to his emotional portrayal of the main character in The Whale. While the audiences were at first concerned over the fatsuit, he won our hearts with how delicately the matter of obesity was portrayed.
That is why it was no surprise when he won the Oscar for his performance. Not only that but he also ended up being awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award. He played a reclusive English teacher by the name of Charlie who was hoping to rekindle his relationship with his daughter Ellie played by Sadie Sink.
Brendan Fraser doesn’t want to jump into any new roles without careful consideration.
At the moment, I don’t have anything — I’m really being picky right now. It might be a long summer. I read the trades the other day. Apparently, I’m going to have to pick up a picket sign.

However, that doesn’t mean that fans will not get to see him at all on the big screen. While he was set to star in the DC film, Batgirl as the main villain, that was cancelled after DC changed its course. So for now the only hope fans have is the western crime drama, Killers of the Flower Moon.
We were working in a really hot weather in Oklahoma, and I can’t oversell my participation in this film because it’s epic. There’s so many actors in this movie when you see it. I’ll arrive for a scene or two at the end.
