Growing up we have all watched and loved Disney movies.

From fantasy, romance, love stories, to fairytales there are just so many different varieties when it comes to choosing your favourite Disney movie. As kids, we just loved them all regardless because we thought we could relate to them more. And unlike today’s animated films, they were nice and sweet movies that one could easily watch with their family. Or…were they?

You see, Disney films weren’t as simple as we thought. There was a lot of meaning behind some of the simplest scenes that we never noticed. It was probably because we were too young to interpret them. Some of these dark twists would have completely changed the entire plot if they were made obvious. So, perhaps they thought it best to have them incorporated in such a subtle way that it would only make sense to us when we grow up. Well played, Disney. Well played.
