The upcoming Disney show Agatha: Coven Of Chaos has been eagerly anticipated by fans. This is especially true since Wandavision only lasted one season. While fans clamoured for a second season of this popular show, we all know it won’t happen because Disney is notorious for only airing one season of even their most popular shows. Fans were ecstatic, however, when they learned about the spin-off series Agatha: Coven Of Chaos.

We don’t know if the Scarlet Witch will appear in this spin-off, but we do know that the universe in which it was set will be explored much more in this new show. People are excited for this show to premiere, now that it has been announced that Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha. In addition, Aubrey Plaza was cast as an unknown witch, though further details are unknown.

Aubrey Plaza teases fans with a Princess Diaries reference.

As we all know, Wandavision made it its mission to pay homage to classic sitcoms in the nine episodes it received, so it’s not surprising that the homages will continue in some way with this spin-off sequel. This is where Aubrey Plaza’s Instagram story comes into play. This took the form of a director chair with ‘The Darkhold Diaries’ emblazoned on the back.

The fact that it was similar to the font and overall design used in the title of ‘The Princess Diaries’ piqued the interest of fans. While we are getting tidbits of information about the new show, much remains unknown, such as what the show will focus on when it comes to the story.

The show was supposed to premiere in late 2023.

However, given the current state of affairs and the fact that some Disney shows have been delayed, there is a good chance that it will be released in early 2024, leaving us with a long wait.

We only know the actors who have been cast in this show so far, not the roles they will play. Patti LuPone will play Lilia Calderu, and Joe Locke will play an unnamed familiar. Debra Jo Rupp also returns as Sharon Davis (aka “Mrs Hart”) from WandaVision. Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili will also appear in the show, though their roles are unknown.
