High School Musical was the movie that you cancelled ALL of your plans for whenever it came on. It showed everyone a different side to high school and made everyone fall in love with Zac Efron and Vanessa Ann Hudgens- they were the ultimate couple goals. The trilogy made everyone cry and during High School Musical 3: Senior Year, everyone sobbed because they didn’t want the story to end.

Now, there is a new trailer of High School Musical 4 swarming around the Internet and people have truly lost it. This teaser trailer appeared on a Facebook page for High School Musical 4 and it was an INSTANT hit- over 24 million people have already viewed this video and wept at the thought of the cast reuniting. The teaser trailer is 10 years into the future and shows what the Wildcats are up to- especially now that some are married and have babies in the trailer.

There’s even a bit where Troy says he misses Gabriella, which made fans sob over the memories of the two in high school together. After it debuted on the Facebook page, this trailer made its rounds to Twitter and made EVERY fan fall in love with High School Musical all over again. But, there’s a slight kicker for everyone- it’s a fan made trailer.

Yes, sadly this amazing trailer for High School Musical 4 is a trailer a fan made out of fun and any talk that has been going around about the cast having a reunion is fake news. The clips in the trailer are snippets of the actors in films they worked on after High School Musical and was created by the Youtube channel hsmutube. It didn’t go viral until it was posted on the Facebook page and in 24 hours it had 12 million views and was shared over a half of a million times. People were truly devastated when they found out that the trailer was just fan made.

However, on the plus side of things, there IS a High School Musical 4 happening. Yes, the fourth addition to this iconic movie is in its early stages and is going to be called High School Musical 4: East Meets West. This movie focuses on a brand new set of Wildcats and focuses on their rivalry with the West Side Knights. No news is out yet about any of the original cast being in this movie, but there are high expectations of it being as good as the first three.
